Hey everyone! I just joined this reddit mostly because I wanted to know people’s opinions on the new animation style. I started season 2 and immediately something felt off, the characters seemed less expressive and dynamic and honestly Mark didn’t even look like himself. I remember that the comic style changed too later on in the story but this animation style feels…worse. Still love the show and I’m gonna keep watching but does anyone else feel this way?

    didn’t even notice there was a change

    i noticed Mark looked different but i assumed that was just the consequence of the massive trauma he got in s1e8. probably eating and sleeping less, made him look tired and worn down. everyone else tho, i didn’t notice any difference really.

    Nah, Its basically the same more or less. Its like a sidegrade, but I understand the preference. There are some REALLY poorly animated stretches in Season 1 though and I dont think we’ve seen anything on that level so far in Season 2

    I’ve been going crazy because my bf and dad haven’t noticed and made me feel like it hadn’t. I don’t like it as much either!
