He doesn’t care and seems totally bored by her. Why can’t Ashley see it. I guess she does see it, but isn’t willing to walk away. I’m sure she can find another guy. This guy face just says I don’t give a shit.

One thing I find interesting from a physiological standpoint is how Ashley acts to Manuel and then about him. When Ashley speaks to Manuel, she is the submissive. She says things like, oh now I see, you’re being a grumpy kitty, you don’t care how I feel? Then she turns with deep, unblinking eyes at PRODUCTION and says: my mf dog will stay on the bed, no one talks to me this way.
She has a misrepresentation of who she is to herself. She thinks she’s playing the dominant, but she’s playing the submissive. She’s getting her dominant out at production, appeasing herself like she’s telling this to Manuel, but she’s not. So she’s fooling herself.

This is an interesting take!
She’s a queen in her own mind…

You’re right on point. When she made the “grumpy kitty” comment, I was like where is big, bad, Ashley, allowing this disrespectful jackass talk and treat her like this. I absolutely believe she’s submissive to him off camera when he can say and do anything. Someone else said it’s a good thing production is there, this guy is no good.
And I like how production is playing with it. The very first thing they showed of Ashley is her having a panic attack over him not answering his phone after landing, being completely destroyed over something so trivial, and next they go back to her introducing herself as a “strong independent woman” and also throwing in that she’s confident and a witch.
Ashley needs to claim all this things to us and herself because she doesn’t actually believe them.
