Mine’s The Unabridged Journals of Sylvia Plath. Thick books never stopped me from reading nonstop before, but there are entries in the book that just has me stopping and taking time to mull things over.

A Distant Mirror: the Calamitous 14th Century by Barbara Tuchman. I do at least a chapter a month, it’s @ 600pgs, I’m @ 400pgs in, and I started some time in 2022.
I generally have some book in the bathroom too, sometimes poetry, sometimes something I need to read slower. A page at a time really helps with denser stuff.
