I don’t read the comics. A friend of mine read them and said the show did a way better job with characters and pacing (he hates amber though) so I probably never will.
But i hear the comic is actually really long. Like it would take almost 10 seasons to cover everything. With how common stream show cancellations are, I find it hard to believe the show will ever get that many seasons. Not to mention animation is notoriously time-intensive. Even if we got to the 8 seasons needed it might take 12+ years to animate everything if we go by how long it took from season 1 to season 2…

As long as it keeps getting bigger and pulling in more subscribers. It’s already got a fortnite collab on the horizon, I’d be surprised if we didn’t get to at least 5.
absolutely not. interest seems to have already tapered way off, and this strange split release model won’t be helping. season 3 is already signed for probably a good chunk into production, but i don’t see the show making it past maybe the invincible war

It will be a long ride imo but considering wherethe dhow goes and the interest for it already I could see 8 seasons. Depends on how they decide to pace the events since season 1’s events were pretty dragged out compared to s02 atm due to rearranging of events.
Whilst I do prefer some of the pacing of the show the comic is still an incredible read with moments that you can’t/won’t be transpired to the show so I’d highly recommend reading it if you’re at all interested.
You say that but the reanimen, flaxans etc were covered in a complete episode, where it took so many issues up in the comics
I don’t mean specifically the events but rather that everything before the beat of Nolan leaving was extended on the show by completing a lot kf these storylines like the Reanimen.
If yes, they need a season per year. It can’t take 12 years 😂
AoT took a decade and it’s considered a masterpiece by many. I don’t think it’s outside the realm of possibility

Show Amber is a vast improvement over comic Amber so far, your friend is nuts.
I don’t know if they’ll make it or not. Hour long episodes of a Western animated action series is kind of uncharted territory. Amazon has had some shows that lasted a while at least, they aren’t as cancel happy as Netflix. If it does stop you should be able to easily pick up the books where they leave off ad get the rest of the story.
The general audience will turn on the show before then. Mark is too weak in fights. And his character is boring.
