Man I still think Kirkman wasn’t the person write this. This whole storyline was just for shock value and the fact that there is redemption after this is fucking wild.
I hopefully the tv writers salvage this but it needs a lot of work. I really don’t like some of the direction that Invincible takes. I feel like Kirkman was just going for shock value on a lot of stuff than trying to have deeper message behind it.
I felt it really Sows the corrupt nature of Viltrum’s “Might is the only right” culture. So from that point of view, it is needed. It was the follow through I felt was lacking.
