I like Amber in the show. I entirely get her anger at being lied to about it for so long and I don’t really get the hate she gets in a lot of online discussions about the show because of it. Does anybody else feel similar or am I missing a serious flaw about her character?

She doesn’t get hate for being mad at Mark for lying, she gets hate because apparently she’s known for a long time yet still yelled at Mark for “abandoning” her during the campus fight when he was there as Invincible.
Otherwise I really like her and apart from that thing (which is apparently a writing mistake), Amber is a good character.
I mean as a human character I think that’s still a valid argument from her. IF you won’t tell me that you are Invincible, then although I know you are I can still be mad at my boyfriend who ostensibly just abandoned me during a critical time period. She gets to call him out on his failure to open up to her. I’ve seen real life relationships fall apart due to way less.
