I like Amber in the show. I entirely get her anger at being lied to about it for so long and I don’t really get the hate she gets in a lot of online discussions about the show because of it. Does anybody else feel similar or am I missing a serious flaw about her character?
Exactly. Comic!Amber could not keep up with Mark’s superhero life, sometimes literally. One time, Mark had to fly fast to another part of the world and tried bringing Amber along but because she was only human and had to be carried, she suffered asphyxiation from the fast trip.
Mark became too much for her and Amber couldn’t become enough for him.
