I noticed in all the airport and flight shots EVERYONE was wearing a mask, way more than I’ve seen in the past 6-12 months. I’m not sure how long ago they filmed but I’m wondering if it was while we were still in super covid mode. It gave me 2021 vibes.

It’s so funny how sensitive some people are to mask-wearing. 60-80 percent of people wear masks in everyday life—and always did even before COVID!—where I live. (Japan) It’s because of a) several seasons of severe pollen a year here and many people allergic, b) lots of overcrowded situations (trains especially) where one can easily catch other’s colds, and c) lots of people just like wearing them.
When COVID hit, it was instant 100% compliance with no protest. It was nice to have everyone in society having each others’ backs. 😄
Same with Shikana when she arrived in Turkey she was masked.
Spring 2022 - masks were still required in Cali - my daughter visited me in the April from the UK and had to wear a mask for the whole flight.
When I travelled to the states in April 2022 there was still a mask mandate in place on planes.
I flew in the states with Spirit both in December 21 and with a mask mandate on the planes (and I still think I got Covid from the plane, but it could have been anywhere) and October ‘22 where it had been lifted.
Ended sometime between May 3, 2022 and May 13th. Flew to Spain and it was still in effect, flew back and it was gone.
