Quite honestly I can’t stand only a few books that I’ve read, recently The Awakening by Nora Roberts.

Holy crap, do I reallllyyyyy want my money back. I was bored. So. Bored. The magic system was subpar, the characters just….ew, everything was so, so boring. The MC is an idiot.

What book is a zero star read for you?

Almost everything written by Steven King. Someone wrote I should read him first the story and not look at it as literature. So I bought the book. I couldn’t get 1/4,the way through Holly. I tried; I really did. I gave it to the local library to sell. She asked why I didn’t read it and I had a thought, I said, If Steven King wasn’t Steven King, would Steven King read Steven King? Maybe not? Steven, you there?

Is Holly the only one you’ve read?

It seems like an odd choice to start with the 6th book that a character appears in that isn’t really in his core genre rather than some of his more classic works like IT or Pet Sematary or the early ones like Carrie and Salems Lot.

I’ve never read any of his well-known horror, but I read a book from him called Later that was short, sweet, spooky, and interesting. If you ever wanted to give him another try, I recommend that one.

Yeah later is just meant to be him doing some pulp fiction.

I thought it was okay, super weird twist ending.
