I think it’s culturally related. I’m Latino here, from Colombia, and we always talked loud. My wife and precious white gfs always thought I was arguing or mad when I talked with friends or fam because I would talk loud or scream lol.
I also feel his problem is that if everyone who has English as a second language, you think in your language and then try to translate to English which doesn’t work 90% of the time lol.
I think he is a butthole but at times I do feel bad for the guy
