I think they just would be in denial and not accept it. Her mom would probably cry and ask eve why she is lying and her father would yell at her for lying.
Unrelated but eve and her dads final conversation in the comics is actually really sweet and moving.

With the way they’re adding and changing things for the show, I can see this happening, for extra drama, but still leads to their final on panel interactions, like the one with her father.
I feel like her mom already knows Eve is not her actual daughter. His dad doesn’t.

To be clear, I read the whole comic and this especulation is assuming the show will go further into Eve’s far. So far, they added a lot of screentime she wouldn’t have if they just translated the comic to another media.
So don’t worry, this especulation can’t be spoiled by comic readers.
You can’t help but feel sorry for Eve’s parents especially her dad sure he’s not exactly a very considerate dude but this scene explains a lot

After watching the Atom Eve special, I just wanna say this: Eve’s mother likely already knows that it’s not actually her baby. But she was going to raise her to be the best young woman she could ever be. Sometimes you just KNOW something’s up with your child, especially when you’re the birth giver of the family. This would be a neat plot point in the show; how will her father react? Would it destroy their family if he found out that his wife knew all along and didn’t bother to tell him? I can already see the conversation between Eve and her mom ending fairly well, but maybe not against her dad.
I read the comics but i forgot what they say about Eves origins. Can someone remind me? And is the Eve special (haven’t seen it) part from the comics?
I think they did figure it out, even if they didn’t say so. It would help explain their behavior.
