What aspects of the authors’ previous works captivated your enjoyment? Personally, my three chosen authors are Nicholas Sparks, as we all crave romance in our lives; Rick Riordan, whose books rekindle the youthful enthusiasm within me; and lastly, Fredrik Backman, whom I consider the finest realistic fiction author.

    1. J.R.R. Tolkien — The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit are some of the few books I have reread and still plan on reading again. Although they aren’t books I can read all the time, they are stories that I think about very often, and I could never give them up.
    2. Stephen King — Not the GOAT, but I love horror, he is extremely prolific, and his books are … comfy in the same sort of way as Tolkien’s books.
    3. Terry Pratchett — This was a tough one for me. I figured I needed some comedy in this list, and my first instinct would be Douglas Adams. But Pratchett had way more books, most of which I haven’t read yet, so Sir Terry wins!
