A lot of people are calling a gold digger but, cmon, if your husband is spending every penny he makes on rent and doesn’t even have enough left over for clothes - let alone enough to save anything - then you downgrade apartments or figure out how to significantly cut costs. I’m not saying she has to go live with his mother, but if she is not willing to bring him to America to make American money she can’t expect him to pay for a lavish American lifestyle. If she truly loved him she would’ve sacrificed and made life in the DR beneficial for both of them.

Condescending!! This is the word I say almost every time she speaks. It really burns my britches.
This! She wanted him to pay for her “lavish” choices not considering that he in no way could afford it and told her so in many different ways. It was a control move. “I pay for everything. I own you”. Why buy the clothes and hats he couldn’t afford then complain that he also couldn’t afford anything else is exactly how she got into debt in the states. SHE lives outside of her means. Period.
