I have seen so many posts of people shitting on popular books so I need to hear some of your favourite ones.
For me I believe that the A Good Girls Guide To Murder series is amazing and deserves all the love in the world
It has a incredible plot with so many fun and well written characters that I found quite relatable, the entire series is just fantastic and is one of my all time favourite mystery series
Sell me on the Far Seer trilogy. All my friends love Robin Hobb and have recommended her and I read a ton of fantasy (it’s the main genre that I love) so it should be right in my wheelhouse. Despite that, I read Assassin’s Apprentice and it didn’t really hit for me and, subsequently, the second book continues to slip behind other books on my TBR.
Sell yourself.
Don’t think anyone should have to “sell” you on it. If you don’t want to continue, don’t continue. If you want to figure out whether or not you should continue perhaps provide more info on why you didn’t like it. Was it because Fitz’s pov was a child’s pov? If so, the series spans nearly his entire life. Did you find it too slow? If so, it might not be a good fit for you. Did you find Fitz annoying? If so, then, again, it might not be a good fit for you, since you need to enjoy being in Fitz’s head to enjoy the series. I’m very much a fan of the series and Fitz is my favourite character, but the series just isn’t a good fit for some readers.
