Mom City is my fave but Sunflowers is great too, especially Beard at the end.
Rainbow is my favorite but Sunflowers was by far the best S3 episode and the only one that got close to capturing the spirit and quality of S1-2.
If only rainbow had a good B plot. I think that B plot was so weak. The A plot was amazing so it’s still a fantastic ep.
I always thought the B plot was the Nate storyline, which is solid (and at the time could have felt throwaway but later you see how pivotal it was to Nate’s arc for the rest of the show). But I guess it depends on what one thinks is the B plot.
B plot is Nate story to me and I didn’t like it much. Thought it was kinda tacky and poor compared to a lot of other storylines of the season.
Why can’t his growth be football related like so many of the. Does it really add that much vs his spurs moment? Why him and jade when they barely even know each other. A lot of the relationships were done much better imo.
It’s not bad, it just was meh…
Great title on this post 🤣🤣
From Jamie and Roy bonding to the Dutchman, from the team finally getting a pillow fight to Ted figuring out total football, it is just perfection in every scene.
Rebecca and her Dutchman, Jan Maas giving the interview, the team’s argument and Isaac’s outrage, Will & Higgins’s jazz adventure, the people at the restaurant not knowing what Chicago is, Jamie teaching Roy how to ride a bike on stolen bikes, Colin and Trent bonding emotionally and then drinking vanilla vodka together, and the scene in the bus at the end??? Please
For Grandad!!!
Has to be Carol of the Bells for me.
Not that I’m saying it’s the best, just that it’s my favourite.
Mine too. Gives me the warm and fuzzies
I needed this reminder…it’s been a rough day, and I think some Ted Lasso would go well with the giant pile of Indian food I ordered.
Tonight’s lineup: Carol of the Bells, Rainbow, Sunflowers. My three favorites!
When I have it rough I always tune in to Ted.
I watch it every day, even just one scene, it’s good for the soul
Dude for real. It’s also taught me a lot about emotional intelligence and leadership.
It’s helping me to be more accountable, and with holding boundaries. I hear Roy telling me to say “none of your fucken business”
I was already watching Ted Lasso when I saw this post. Now I’m watching a delightful season 1 episode while fondly thinking of and looking forward to my favorite episode. Thanks for that!
The montage with Chet Baker’s “Let’s Get Lost” playing and the team singing Bob Marley and the Wailers’ “Three Little Birds” at the end was perfection.
Tulips will always make me smile now.
Just watched it yesterday and loved it ! But was a bit disappointed by the Rebecca story tbh. Seemed very cliché like a Hallmark romcom compared to all the other very thoughtful and genuine moments.
I have a place in my heart for the darts episode from season 1.
Season 1: Diamond Dogs
Season 2: Rainbow
Season 3: Sunflowers
Because I was studying for a section of the CPA Exam when watching the episode, and it helped teach me a mantra:
Don’t worry, about a thing…cause every little thing is gonna be alright
Edit: I did pass the section, and sat for my second already.
