Is it me, or did the fight scene Eve had on the bridge remind me of the scene where Superman fought Doomsday in the Death of Superman movie.
So Thanos’s Nolan son ?
Seeing Mark not only stop holding back, but actually go toe to toe with a god damn viltrumite and somewhat succeed was SO satisfying, even if he does end up hesitating and getting hurt himself.
Also Mr Krabs himself, Clancy Brown, as General Kregg is something I’m definitely down for! Excited to see what his performance will bring to the character.
And now I’ve got a question: does this episode redeem Nolan? Personally, while I appreciate the fact that he was humbled and began saving lives, I still think he’s got a LONG road before he can be truly redeemed (and given what the Viltrumites plan to do with him, it’s hard to say). The man still killed thousands and still has a tinge of that Viltrumite mindset, even if he obviously is distraught seeing the people he grew to love killed.
How stupid of a plot point is it for them to ask Mark to go back and conquer earth? Like, I get the writers need to come up with a way to keep him alive after him and his dad are defeated but that is just stupid and illogical that the Viltrumites would trust a half breed sympathizer, son of a Benedict Arnold, to finish a mission they could easily manage for themselves at this point.
It looked like Nolan was about to actually kill himself using the black hole or whatever it was until he saw the alien ship almost crashing.
I love how sophisticated Nolan is, he still has a viltrumite mindset but after his time on earth he has also gained a bit of a human mindset and the two are clashing with eachother.
I have so many questions.
Nolan said Mark would never be able to get home on his own and offered him a ship. Nolan is gone and that planet is toast. How is Mark getting home?
There no way Cecil isn’t keeping tabs on Mark, right?
Are Debbie and Mark Hamill going to bone? Grief brings people together.
I don’t want spoilers but just thoughts I had post episode!
Was omni man about to kill himself in the blackhole, or am I trippin?
So annoying gotta wait like half a year for the rest of the episodes from the same season smh.
How many somber song montage scenes did this episode need?
Also, I know grief lasts a long time and it’s totally realistic but has Debbie done anything this season but cry???
Also, also, his name is really Nolan??? That wasn’t just an Earth alias??? 🤣
Also, also, also, I respect Nolan for getting some insectussy! 🤣
This season isn’t doing it for me, I don’t understand how it took so long to make 4 episodes that are barely coherent and have so much filler. When this show is good it’s really good, but it can also just drag on forever some times.
Why did Nolan have another kid? I always thought him.and Debbie were legit soulmates
At the end of the episode Kregg says to Mark that either you kill a few or we kill millions. With that kind of dilemma hanging over his head, Mark would want to not kill millions. I can see a possibility where in the parallel universes Omni Man really cares about Mark and has this convo with him. I wonder if in the parallel universes Mark is really doing what he thinks will cause least damage and Omni Man does care.
IDK, I think this would give depth to those universes and scenarios more than just black and white.
This episode jumped the shark with the black hole. Escaping what is potentially the strongest force in the universe makes any chance anyone has of fighting him or his race seem absolutely fucking impossible. How he even bled on Earth is a complete mystery to me now.
Viltrumites aren’t very smart are they? Kregg telling Invincible to finish conquer earth when he clearly opposes everything Viltrumites stand for.
Anatomy wise, how does one sex up a bug and get pregnant?
