I agree it’s such a great scene to show mark is still weak and slow compared to fully fledged viltrumites and I wish they kept it but they also kinda showed it with the Lucan one finger strength scene. What helped me accept it kinda is in season 1 Nolan talks about their powers as muscles and you need to tense them more and more, and the small training montage (where I feel Nolan would reiterate that).
