just finished all three omnibuses! i absolutely loved these books, Invincible usurped Spidey as my favorite all time hero! i think what makes me love these books the most is that they end. there’s a definitive ending and unlike Marvel or DC where characters never age or change or just eventually go back to the status quo, Mark’s story ends and that makes it that much more impactful and special to me! That being said i have an invincible sized hole in my heart do you guys have any recommendations for similar comics?

Yeah, thats the thing I dislike about many mainstream comics.
I’d rather a loosely connected universe with characters whose have self contained stories that eventually end rather than constantly continuing, resetting, retconning, and introducing and forgetting about characters and their various threat levels for no other reason than to keep making money.
Its why I bought Invincible, but not other comics, I prefer a coherent story
man i’m trying to read Hickmans fantastic four and even though i love Hickman i’m struggling to care about any of the characters because i know eventually there will be a new writer new stories and nothing definitive.
Yeah I was still hoping for a proper resolution with Markie but I guess not everything has to be resolved.
