Help! I’m in a rut. I’m DNFing books that are actually good …HP Lovecraft, Candy House, Heart of Darkness. I need a recommendation for books you literally can’t put down because you’re too invested. I think the problem right now is I have too much going on and if the book isn’t super gripping I’ll read it when I can but then forget about it.

I need a book I can’t forget about! What books did that for you? Some of my prior reads that I could not put down were:

Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World

The Dark Forest and Deaths End

And Then There Were None

Rabbits

Hyperion ( but not enough to read the sequels)

1984 and Brave New World (as a teenager)

Terry Pratchett’s books mostly his Discworld series but really his whole library is amazing. It’s amazing how simple a thing as not having chapters makes it harder to put his books down, but even his books that do use chapters are often hard to put down because of how fun they are.
