Please no major spoilers (I’m show-only).

Mark seems to rack up the Ls and with how powerful his father seems to be, I’d expect him to be stronger than his record shows. Does he get stronger or is he generally weaker than others of his species?

I don’t want spoilers or examples, a simple “He gets stronger than his dad”, “he becomes OP”, “he is weaker” or the like will suffice 👍🏻

    Mark right now is your idyllic superhero. He does not want to hurt anyone, including the bad guys. And with Viltrumites being as strong as they are, that means Mark is holding back all of the time.

    How many people get stronger by holding back and never pushing themselves. None. That’s kid of where Mark is at right now.

    The other Viltrumites he’s fought have decades to centuries of experience, and he just doesn’t want to kill people. Nolan told him this when he was on Thraxia where he needs to fight like a Viltrumite and not hold back.

    He’ll get stronger in his own way later on.

    It’s not a DNA thing, it’s an experienced thing.

    All the ones that we are meeting right now? These people are centuries old and have been doing nothing but fighting their entire lives.  The fact that they are even alive right now and allowed to still serve the Empire means that they have survived life or death battles that  cement their own place in their society.
