I was very surprised to see Amber actually understand Mark’s busy schedule and that “You’re way too good for me!” comment by him made me smile.
With how much he went through, I like seeing him happy. Kinda wish she was like that in the first season.

He definitely isn’t the same guy who held off Nolan, that’s for sure.

The other Viltrumites he’s fought have decades to centuries of experience, and he just doesn’t want to kill people. Nolan told him this when he was on Thraxia where he needs to fight like a Viltrumite and not hold back.
He’ll get stronger in his own way later on.
They will be VERY detrimental to what’s gonna happen next.
“The Man With The Invincible Gun” is a key player if you’ve read the comics.

Honestly, he had all the right to be angry to Nolan.
He spends 20 years of his life (which is basically nothing) putting up a front to his human wife and his kid?
He still cared (gave him five minutes to explain why Nolan called him here and was calm enough to understand that it’s a massive risk for Nolan to leave his post) but I understand his anger.
They gave Robot a human body and Immortal a new one, so this gives us our limits.
They either need to be alive to transfer one’s consciousness to another body(Robot) or have the brain of the host to make another successful clone (Immortal)
It would have worked with Levi Angstrom, had he not hesitated.
Outside of those two, everyone else from the GoTG was mutilated to the point where there was nothing salvagable.
They were power limiters.
His mustache, if shaven, could make Nolan a universal threat.
But he loves his family too much for that to happen.

In season one, Mark gets his superpowers and wants to prove himself. When Omni-Man tells Mark what his true purpose was, he unironically gave Mark another one in stopping his dad from taking over the world.
Season two so far has Mark try to not be his dad and actively goes out to save people. The comics have more themes, but I don’t want to spoil anything unless you read the comics.

They would improve technology, and would add Earth to their rule. But, as real life examples such as Britain, Spain, heck most of Europe, and America would tell you, they would want something from us.
And we’ve seen what they can do if the people rebel. It’s not pretty.
Mark was actually at the correct tempo. Nolan just made him doubt himself.
Call him fat all you want, he’ll have you looking at your dislocated spine in five seconds.
Mark could be human and even then having to take care of a kid while still going through college is something neither of them want.
Amber is honestly a lot better here than she was in the first season and I was pleasantly surprised.
It was jam packed for one episode. I was impressed. We had four plots all in the span of an hour.
Comparing this to the comic, I loved the show’s version of it more.
The original had Mark begging Nolan to come back because his mom was heartbroken (this was after he told Mark the truth and killed the Guardians) but the show had him rightfully angry that he spent six days of travel to supposedly save a planet from meteor showers only to be shown he had another kid (which puts the line “What’s 17 more years?” in a new perspective)
But Mark was still nice enough to at least hear him out a bit and fight off the Viltrumites. I really want to see how the show does Oliver.
