So I just finished the show season 2 ep4, and off course I instantly noticed that the time line of events are different from the show, and was wandering if I am missing anything if I stared watching the show from issue 31

Yes. A lot of things are re-arranged. Also, there’s some changes (mostly minor, but still interesting to the story). Notably, the season 1 finale is a lot more brutal than its comic counterpart, so if you read the comic from its current show-equivalent, certain things may seem off to you.
If you’re going to read like 150 issues anyway just start from the beginning.
