I’ll go against the grain and say probably Mark. Given thousands, or tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands of years, eventually something is likely to kill Eve completely and faster than she can activate her powers. She is by no means invulnerable (as seen by what happens to other Eve’s). A bullet to the head, a decapitation, an explosion, etc could all theoretically put her under.

She needs to be NEARLY dead in order to revive herself. Any quick, conclusive death would bypass that, and given enough time, I think that would likely happen eventually.

Mark, meanwhile, is likely to get even stronger over time. Not saying he couldn’t eventually bite it in combat or age (though we have no real way of knowing the Viltrumite lifespan since they seem to die ‘early’ in battle), just that I think Eve has tougher odds.

  • As long as people keep it respectful/constructive (which most of it has been), I don’t see the harm in complaining. If anything, complaints can often lead to improvements.

Most of what I’ve seen complained about (pacing and animation being the top 2) are pretty fair.

Some are more subjective (Pronunciation of certain names and some minor character design changes) but those are usually presented as minor complaints, which is also fair.

  • They could go in either direction. Killing them off now keeps comic readers in suspense since we won’t know what’s in store for the smaller characters in the series. Their future roles, if still adapted could also be filled by other, yet to be introduced, Viltrumites fairly easily, since they are pretty minor characters.

That said, Viltrumites (mostly Mark) survive pretty brutal injuries, so it’s also possibly they are alive.

They might also kill one and spare the other, for a little of both.

  • I think the Mauler Twins demonstrate a similar concept pretty well, if you’re obsessed with being the best, and there’s no outside party, then in-fighting will occur unless there is equal footing.

In the case of Viltrumites, some are stronger than others. The ones on the bottom are realistically not fond of being ‘weak’ so the only way to maintain the Empire without further in-fighting is to expand and have others for them to lord over.

  • I mean, you only need one hand to do that, so it shouldn’t be a challenge provided it takes place before season 1.

Of course, he’d probably need to clear it with Debbie first, since Nolan probably wouldn’t want to jeopardize his marriage (pre-season 1), but assuming she’s willing to share, and Nolan’s down to clown, I don’t see why he couldn’t.

  • Drowning/suffocation would work if they didn’t hold their breath (bonus points for simplicity).

A Black Hole is obviously another one.

Flying into the Sun would also be an option.

They seem to be stronger than they are durable, so they could theoretically just punch themself and then rip out their innards (if needed) to finish themself off.

Assisted suicide may also be an option, but my bet would be that a Viltrumite asking for death would be seen as weak and they would either get ‘reprogrammed’ or their death would be made extremely painful.
