    You either didn’t listen or didn’t understand what happened. Mark has been clearly differentiated from Nolan because he puts others first. That’s the entire reason the season 1 finale happened. He was doing the same here, holding back because he wanted to reduce collateral damage.

    Direct quote from Nolan: “Stop holding back, or you’re gonna get us both killed.”

    Once Mark was convinced to not hold back, he obviously was able to put up much more of a fight. That’s like putting Adonis Creed in the ring with one hand tied behind his back for the first round, then untying it round two and going “woah how did he get so good?”
