The current militarized society of Viltrum is based on a system of extremely high levels of conditioning and discipline that subsequently gives them the lean, huge muscular build developed during their combat career. They have to be shredded in order to maintain their endurance, speed, mobility, and strength at the highest level.
The Viltrumites claim they wiped out the weak and allow the strongest to live, well clearly not because Lucans fat lard ass somehow is at the upper ranks of the empire.
And not you assholes trying to defend this design disaster by saying he looks like a strongman, no, no, no, no, no. He looks like an alcoholic pot-bellied fatass that happens to have big muscles on his body. I mean seriously, it was particularly hilarious seeing him fight Mark, his belly is protruding out of his uniform ffs.
And as a n*gga myself, I was looking forward to seeing Lucan with his roaring 6’4 Tyrone physique like in the comics, but instead he looks Steve Harvey.
The design of the black Viltrumite in Season 1 (who was assumed to be Lucan) was obviously way better. It made the point that while Viltrum is racially diverse, they are still fitness fascists and are expected to be uniformed in physical fitness/physique.
They still have a chance to unfuck his current design tho.

Where’s the same rant about the female Viltrumites being slightly muscular barbie dolls? Shouldn’t they be Arnold Schwarzenegger with tits to match their male comrades? Wonder why this deserves a rant post and not that. They’re a superhuman race with natural abilities far and away above anything else in the universe. A bit of body diversity among them is fine. They can be lean, jacked, or have a bit of fat on their muscles. It’s fine.
Theyre still men and women, so the men are just gonna have larger peak muscle mass. Look at she hulk, shes jacked as fuck but doesnt look like hulk. Idk Lucans awesome, Id have to see him again, as long as he doesnt have a baby belly flopping around and it stays as more of a power gut like powerlifters and strongmen have I think itll be neat to separate him from other viltrumites. Hes like a tank with tremendous force but maybe is a bit slower or gets tired out faster than others.

If we have to stick with combat look at George Foreman when he became the oldest heavy weight champ.
I like that the viltrumites have distinct physical looks.
