I think a lot of people outside of the US don’t have a good sense of genuinely how HUGE and diverse the US is. Different places might as well be completely different countries in terms of customs, language, lifestyle, sensibilities, and of course politics unless you’ve been living under a rock haha.
Did I even notice that there’s language in Ted Lasso as a New Yorker? Fuck no. Would an evangelical Christian living in rural Kentucky have a problem with it? Oh my heavens yes.
