What’s your reasoning for having different editions of the same book/series?
Why do you choose one book/series over the other books you have?
How much are you willing to spend on editions?
I’ve recently watched a lot of tik toks of people showing their different editions of their favorite books/series and I got curious.
I have 3 copies of Persuasion. 1st is from my Nan but it’s falling apart so I got a 2nd one from a charity shop that was in much better condition, and then I got a 3rd copy as part of a set that someone gifted to me.
Despite having 3 copies, I saw another edition with a beautiful cover and gold edges yesterday and was THIS close to buying it. Luckily for my wallet I make it a rule to not buy books over £25, no matter how pretty they are.
