I’m just watching this newest episode. This sounds like AI. There’s zero humanity in his voice. That is NOT JK Simmons. Does anyone know for sure?

    I kinda see what you mean, he did sound pretty robotic for parts of the episode, but I think it was intentional for omniman to be trying to hide his emotions. You could really hear it in his voice when he was breaking down

    Aside from it the VA feeling HOLLOW and phoned in, I think I may have another explanation.

    I’ve been listening to the dub in other languages (Portuguese) and the voice work sounds well acted with stronger emotion and but also like the English version, the overall mix still sounds peaky and unbalanced.

    I think the problem may be with the final mix and it’s ruining the depth of the performance.

    I just started the episode and noticed that he sounds off. Went to google straight away and found this thread. At least I’m not the only one.

      Yeah I posted this as I watched it. Hoped someone would have an answer instead got downvoted for thinking it’s AI.
