I may be really slow on the uptake on this. But I was just re-watching, and noticed the season 2 episode called ‘Man City’ had a deeper meaning.

In the episode they face off against Manchester City. But it is also the episode that focused on different characters’ fathers, and/or father figures (e.g., Roy to his niece).

Has anyone noticed other deeper meanings in other episode titles?

    Season 3, La Locker Room Aux Folies, is wordplay on the stage play ‘La Cage e Folies’; which inspired the popular comedy ‘The Birdcage’ with Robin Williams and Nathan Lane.

    Both the play and movie are, in a nutshell, about hiding being a part of the gay community in order to “protect” others feelings
