We always know our favorite books but what about book characters?
For some reason, even after years after finishing the series, I still remember Rose Hathaway from The Vampire Academy. I most definitely have outgrown the series but I still love her spunk and humor. Mead’s development of the character was just so beautifully done.
Also, Jamie Fraser… because, I mean, who wouldn’t? 😮💨
This is so random and I could never pick just one favorite sorry but two OF mine are Harry Potter and Charlie Dean from The Fashion Committee.
Harry has his moments because he is a traumatized teenager but he still manages to keep love and kindness despite all the horrible things that have happened to him.
Charlie is from a way lesser known book (whose cover totally does not fit the story IMO) but when I read it I was completely moved by her perseverance and passion. She loves and cares so much for her father despite his extreme shortcomings (he’s an addict) and will do almost anything to get to go to her dream school. She also has to deal with people thinking she’s weird or off-putting and doesn’t let it bother her.

When she doesn’t get to go to the school in the end, over something that she was just not old enough to know how to handle, and her dad’s GF relapses and leaves them I was heartbroken for her but she still manages to be optimistic and even makes a romantic connection with another girl in the program. Idk her character and story just really sat with me long after I finished this book.
