invincible has an amazing story and characters with some incredible voice acting but i just can’t take this animation. it’s so bland and boring. the action is incredible but after 3 years and the really smooth and high quality teaser, i thought we’d get a huge improvement over the animation but i guess not. and then there is the 3 year wait… i know they said they’re aiming for a one season a year schedule but i doubt it. is the compendium a good option?

    Yes the compendiums are a good option. I highly recommend starting the series from issue 1 because they rearranged the order of events

    Aesthetically the comic is great if that’s important to you, the compendium will get what you need, the other options are mostly extras for the bigger fans.

    The art improves significantly over the first several dozen issues, and occasionally takes a step back in the opinion of many people when the original artist occasionally fills in for a few issues here and there. You’ll see.
