    This is random ish, but I wonder if SS poster boy JustIgor was born in the USSR? Or the Moldovan SSR AKA current Moldova? He seems ethnically Russian and to speak Russian. I am not sure we’ve heard him speak Romanian yet. I’m sure he does when he needs to while living there but goes with Russian when he can.

      My pet conspiracy theory is he and Nikki actually met in Russia and his family moved to Moldova later. If you remember the original story was her boyfriend went to jail and got deported back to Russia, and then she didn’t fill in the gaps of exactly how that lead to meeting Igor. Not that it’s that important! But yeah, I don’t think I’ve heard any Romanian out of him either, and they’ve both made the odd comment like “Russian men/women do X or Y”
