Was wondering why Amazon seems to be censoring/holding back on anything involving suggestive/sexual themes. Lots of the female characters seem to have been altered when compared to the comics. My question is why? Why is it that any sexual is so taboo, but we can watch the gory and traumatic events unfold just the same? Anyone have any idea on why they made these alterations or if Amazon has said anything on this?

I think part of the reason they don’t is because they want the show to be taken more seriously as a drama than the comic and having people talk about “T n A” detracts from that.

That said I think it should be the same amount in the comic, where its ok to have “sexy” and raunchy stuff up to PG-13. Anything more doesn’t really fit the tone and looks silly animated imo anyway, but when they go way less like they do in the show it also looks deliberately prudish. Like Amber wearing a baggy sweater in August at college? No heavily implied same sex relationship for War Woman? The one that actually bothers me the most so far is Atom Eve’s outfit, not only because it’s something her father would make her do, but because if they wanted to make her cover up they should have just gone full length, the shorts just look stupid and makes her look like an adolescent.
