So, I’m seeing a lot of hate for Rob on the current season of 90 Day, and after two episodes I don’t really see why? Like yeah, he seems pretty average, But I’ve definitely seen way worse men on this show. To me he’s done nothing particularly aggravating. Why are people disliking him?
Just because there are people that “are worse” doesn’t make him good. He’s defensive, doesnt seem to care for Sophie as a person, only seems drawn to her appearance and projects his insecurities onto her. He cant even be bothered to reassure her when he brings up legitimate concerns (like gun violence).
He behaves as though he’s offering her so much because he’s in America, living in LA. But the reality of the States is the average person has to 10x harder to acquire amenities that are considered human rights in the UK, like healthcare. He’s serving shit on a silver platter. Plus he’s nearly 10 years older than her, not to shame age gap relationships, but in his case, his personality is crappy and it’s obvious why he’d want to date a person in their early 20s.
