mark was getting clobbered by fucking maulers 3 episodes ago now he’s able to beat a full grown soldier viltrumite that’s been conquering worlds for millennia just because he “stopped holding back”. Even Nolan who got hospitalized by the guardians while soloing them, only suffered a cut on his head fighting THREE viltrumites!!! Just makes them look weak in comparison. I feel like they shouldn’t even have any chance winning that battle at all, not alone surviving in better condition than against way weaker foes

    Then I wonder why they started the season with mark getting fucked up by maulers in a pool of his own blood and needed to be saved instead of yunno, showing he’s leveled up and way more powerful than last season…but nah all of a sudden he’s leveled up because of plot, that’s called plot convenience

      His dad is finally getting to him and teaching him how to fight like a Viltrumite.

        He was also handling the Maulers just fine until Levy brought in 10x as many. It was a numbers game, and Mark was at the disadvantage
