I was a Spanish teacher for 15 years and I usually cringe at the terrible Spanish that the Americans attempt to speak on the show. Don’t get me wrong: they are still understandable, but the sig other is listening to some of the worst grammar… (imagine a 4 year old speaking English)

Clayton, however, has this one impressed. He has made few grammatical errors and has really good oral proficiency and clear oral comprehension. He is great at spontaneous conversation.

I need to know what language learning app he used! I want to work on my French and German.

Do you want to improve your German through talking about 90 day with a German person? I am one, DM me if you want to. I think we could have fun 😄

I would most definitely need to hop back on duolingo at the very least. It’s been about 5 years since I invested time into learning. At the end of the day, it seems like having a native speaker partner to converse with would be the best thing for anyone to help them master it.

This!! I was fluent as a kid (spent a ton of time.in PR) took it all through school and lost most of my conversational Spanish…I’ve been on Duolingo for a while but NOTHING is like talking with my Spanish friends! I can learn more in 30 min than 2 weeks in the app

Had nearly the same with french. In spanish I was not bad at all after 2 or 3 years in school, but I forgot everything in both languages. I tried Duolingo for french, but it was awful and boring. Haven’t found one good language app. And also my English got really better through speaking English at work, thanks to all the refugees we had to take care of at work. After I finished school I forgot a little bit of my English, but a few weeks into work with some English speakers I was better than ever.

The good thing would be that 90day is an easy topic to talk about. It’s just about crazy daily life, so the vocabulary is not too special. If you get better in the future, hit me up! I don’t think I’ll quit watching😄
