Look, having been through the comics myself, I can agree that the shows adaptation isn’t faultless, but it’s a shame seeing how so much of the discourse this week is about the complaints people have for the way things have been delivered with the show this season.

No shade, but I hope the comic folks having a bad time at the moment learn to let go and just enjoy the show for what it is. Great casting, faithful recreation of the OG story- We’re so much luckier than the vast majority of comics fans getting the adaptation we are.

    I mean, I kinda get it, this was a comics sub first, then it became both. I also think it does a better job at exploring the characters, even if that cuts the action and intense imagery a bit.

      There was also like 10,000 of us here when it was a comic subreddit, if that. It’s really hard to call this a comics first subreddit at this point. The past few months on here is probably the most discussion I’ve seen of the comics since season 1 released.
