Look, having been through the comics myself, I can agree that the shows adaptation isn’t faultless, but it’s a shame seeing how so much of the discourse this week is about the complaints people have for the way things have been delivered with the show this season.

No shade, but I hope the comic folks having a bad time at the moment learn to let go and just enjoy the show for what it is. Great casting, faithful recreation of the OG story- We’re so much luckier than the vast majority of comics fans getting the adaptation we are.

Peace and love, bring on the downvotes I guess 😅

The exact same thing happened in One Punch Man. There became a pretty big subset of webcomic purists that just hated anything and everything that changed in the manga.

Unfortunately it’s very natural when an adaptation like this happens. I read the comic and have been loving the show. I don’t even really see the complaints about the animation.

I just wish more people would let the show play out the rest of this season before they start deciding it’s “gone downhill”.

The OPM manga introduced broad sweeping changes and left out/completely changed a ton of good moments for generic shonen

Not at all what happened here, this was still a p good episode

Minor things like the battle on Thraxa should’ve made the characters progressively bloodier (take maulers jumping mark) just to show that everyone is getting clobbered equally. That fight was too clean lol
