I mean: short-haired Viltrumite lady who refused to procreate with mere humans. Can her participation in the events may be the same as in original story? How her character development may look like? Exactly as originally? Because her character development was kinda weird and not aiming in the good direction. From peaceful (as for Viltrum) emissary to one of the worst psychos. She started as quite calm, cold and calculating character, doing things unusual for Viltrumites:

  1. Agreeing to wait for negotiations with Mark;
  2. Apologizing to Mark for threatening his mother;
  3. Trying to convince him to join Viltrum Empire, instead of threatening him like Kregg did before;
  4. Helping Invincible to save the sinking ship;
  5. Openly complimenting his strength and will;
  6. After being attacked, pinning Mark down and warning him instead of simply beating;
  7. After “defeating” Allen, she took him to the prison for analysis instead of finishing or mutilating him off.

The first time when Viltrumite refused to fight

And, around Viltrumite War, her design changed slightly and she started acting like regular Viltrumite, but even worse later. We all know where this went.

I am curious - and a bit scared (of her) - how the show will handle this one. Will she stay as calm and ruthless character, or will show up to be maniac since the beginning? Or perhaps her change will be explained in some way. Or she should be rewritten/cancelled as originally too unlikable and having mostly negative participation in the saga?

What are your expectations and opinion about future of one of the worst characters?

    I’m hoping they stay 1-1 with her at least up until post reboot. Keep her more stoic personality and more passive approach as it parallels well for when the send Conques down instead when it’s clear he isn’t making progress and then with the rape it adds to the surprise factor from who was seemingly one of the better Viltrumites doing that by testing her impatience until she snaps & embraces the “Viltrumite way”.

    The reason I say at least until post reboot is the whole kinda redemption thing with her is very controversial, from Nolan’s reaction of when he learns about it and her infamously saying she doesn’t regret it rubbing many the wrong way. So maybe some pacing issues there could be ironed out along with some of the resolution there.

      Yeah Nolan’s reaction when he finally learns is far too tame for my liking. Like I get he of all people would deeply believe in second chances, but he should have been more mad about it. Basically saying it doesn’t matter cause she “changed” isn’t a good look.

    Hone think they’re gonna keep it pretty much the same. And when they do get to that part they’ll just put a disclaimer on screen before the episode starts.

    I really do feel like THAT part while controversial and triggering speaks to people in the way of showing them these thing can happen to men to. I’ve seen a lot of people appreciate that, and what it did to Mark’s character.
