Even though I think she could try harder to integrate, it’s clear they just want her gone at this point which doesn’t make it any easier. She never even mentions going back, but they constantly jump to that whenever there’s a problem rather than trying to find a solution. They seemed to really embrace her with the wedding and all but either it was for all for show or she’s really worn her welcome. TJ looks so fed up but that’s what he gets for deceiving her honestly.

Although her scream was childish, I can see how it came to that point for her.

I can’t. TJ’s family has been very obvious that they expect her to be a traditional Indian wife and daughter-in-law. Completely.

If you don’t leave in the face of that, I expect it’s because you agree with it. Staying, and trying to change an entire family, and a culture, is just…imbecilic.

Her failure shrieks are just more demonstrations of her stupidity and immaturity. Like a toddler trying to bail out the ocean them tantrum-ing when she realizes it’s not working.

I agree. A 30 year old screaming in a house in America like that with older adults would be disrespectful so I don’t know why doing that in another culture is supposed to be acceptable.
