Of all the couples I’ve watched on the show, he just does not bring anything to the table. There is nothing redeeming about him. He’s not overly attractive, he’s not kind, he’s not rich, his personality sucks, he doesn’t try with her friends to make a good impression.
I don’t get what she sees in him, he just mocks her and is always looking smug. I can’t stand his face. Also this last episode, why was Ashely just translating while he walked away from her group of friends lmao? She was like narrating his shit talking (which is good I guess) instead of calling him out (not good)
It’s hard to imagine her being able to coexist with someone she lives with other than Rico Motherfucking Suave. I think the long distance thing suited her better and now she’s finally getting the sex but not the companionship or even friendship so it’s a wakeup call. Seeing her so surprised at their lack of chemistry is weird, though, it’s like she hasn’t gotten in 10 years what the audience saw in 10 minutes. He’s just not into her, he looks like he wants to drink some beer with friends all day and then come home to fuck before bed. She seems to want something more than that like most American/Western women but he’s stuck in that “wife is your mom” mindset where the women chill at home or with other women or children only.
