Not sure if I feel bad for Danielle because of the bait-and-switch she supposedly pulled after they got married, and the timeline is not clear. Do you think Yohan started cheating on Danielle only after she told him that they were going to stay in the D.R. (instead of moving to USA like he wanted)? Or was he cheating even before that?

Her ego was the problem. She thought she was so desirable that she could convince him to do whatever she wanted. She also (unsuccessfully) used money to try to control him. Bad plans all around.
I don’t have sympathy for her because realistically, she’s taking advantage of people at her retreats the same way he took advantage of her. They were both playing a con.
