Not sure if I feel bad for Danielle because of the bait-and-switch she supposedly pulled after they got married, and the timeline is not clear. Do you think Yohan started cheating on Danielle only after she told him that they were going to stay in the D.R. (instead of moving to USA like he wanted)? Or was he cheating even before that?

    He told her he was marrying her because he loved her. He lied to her and she believed him. How was she supposed to know that?

      That is what sanky pankies / Tunisian love rats / Yahoo boys / other love scammers do: tell you they love you so you can give them things. She can easily learn which he is by NOT giving him things/money and see how he reacts… but IF this storyline is even real, she was never interested in that; she wanted to be able to flaunt this big strapping man and his baby arm dick, and now she’s surprised he’s a POS. He’s been a dick to her from the very beginning, this behavior is not surprising.

        You’re just victim blaming. The people that steal and take advantage of people are to blame for their own actions and no one else. You must not have watched Love in Paradise because he was not “a dick to her from the very beginning”. He told her he loved her.

          Listen, you’re not going to find any Yohan apologist over here. Yohan is a piece of shit and fully to blame for his behavior; that’s a given we can state outright so that we don’t waste any more time on it.

          I think why this is nuanced is because Daniele also lied to him: she told him that they would move to the States when she had no intention of doing so. She lied about it because she knew he would leave if he knew the truth. She didn’t truly love him, she wanted a big Dominican dick she could cuddle and control. That’s why this isn’t as cut and dry as other situations- they scammed each other.

          And for the record, I did watch Love In Paradise, I’ve seen every single one of their episodes; and I stand by it, he was a dick to her from the very beginning. He casually ate $200 in peanuts and then told her she was making a big deal out of nothing when she rightfully complained. Yeah he said he loved her, but his actions have shown otherwise.

          Again, IF any of this is even real!
