…about Jack.

By the time we reach season 3, we don’t have any female villains.
The closest to an “evil” female is Bex because of going to the gala with Jamie possibly knowing that Keeley doesn know, and ignoring how Rupert treats Rebecca before the darts scene.
But Bex is hardly a villain.

Jack is basically the only female villain on the show, up there with Rupert, Dr Jake, George Cartrick, Jamie’s dad and Edwin Akofo.
(Shandy, in my opinion, is just a mess. Not really a villain, just someone who really needs to grow.)

We already have:

4 good, openly queer characters:
Keeley, Will, Colin and Trent Crimm

4 evil most likely straight characters:
Rupert, George Cartrick, Jamie’s father, Dr Jake

1 evil character with undisclosed sexuality:
Edwin Akufo

4 seemingly straight characters with ambiguous morality:
Zava, Nate, Nate’s father, Bex, (also, Miss Cakes, Shandy, Jane Payne)

so 1 evil queer character, and the only evil woman on the show

doesn’t seem problematic to me.

I’m sorry if some people literally have the experience of seeing some evil lesbian trope in their lives or worse, even being mistreated based on such a trope. :(

I personally don’t get it,though.
My memories of the 90s and 2000s - Ross’s ex Carol on Friends,
HIMYM’s Cindy and her wife, (plus Lily being clearly bi),
Patty Maleficient on Simpsons,
Willow and Tara on Buffy,
Enid from Legally Blonde,
Ally McBeal and Ling(Lucy Liu),
Samantha dating the female artist Maria on Sex and the City,

Where is the evil lesbian trope … ? These were all good women.

I can’t recall any examples of such a trope.

I think she would more fall under the “morally ambiguous” category for that’s exact reason, whereas characters like Rupert are just outright terrible
