She was not rude, she didn’t owe Bojack anything, she just got the news about New Mexico, she doesn’t want to have a relationship with him. That’s it. Sometimes people want to change and by that time is too late.

I hate it when people suggest that Hollyhock was in the wrong somehow for not giving Bojack another chance as if everthing she went through wasn’t traumatic enough. As if she wasn’t a literal teen being held responsible for the emotions of an abusive way-older adult. In her eyes he is a pedophile, probably, why would she be anything but rude/scared of him and wanting to avoid him at all costs?
