Just finished watching the last episode of Before the 90 days…and I really think Gino needs a simple, ‘down-home’ girl, and not a lavish Jasmine. They’re spending habits are so different, it’s bound to cause problems. She has extravagant taste and immediately wants to change everything in his home, and he doesn’t have the money for it. Meanwhile, she spent $10,000 of his money on a butt-lift? She’s not frugal at al and just wants what she wants. I don’t see this going well. They’re plenty of humble girls in the U.S who would be perfectly fine with Gino’s kitchen, bedroom etcc

I don’t understand why he quit his job though. They’re never going to be able to afford the paperwork now that he’s quit his job.

I think that was a genius move. Jasmine is setting herself up to get her way everytime because she has “sacrificed everything to get to the usa” (even though she’s the one that demanded it). Now he can talk about how he sacrificed his job for her

I honestly wonder if the quitting his job is just a tv thing and if he’s really apart of the UAW strike that’s been going on for months now. But due to not wanting to get into the politics of the strike they just told him to say he quit instead of his industry is striking

Isn’t he an automotive engineer or something?

I would never habe pegged him being a creative - he’s so utterly dull and soulless that he feels practically AI-generated.

Yes which makes this quitting thing make me believe even more that he is on strike. There’s only so many manufacturing sites still in Michigan that getting hired back on to probably only one of three employers in your state nearby seems like a fools errand.
