I think that Clayton doing nothing to address that he lives in an apartment that is overrun with his mom’s hoarding and a giant guinea pig setup is the bigger red flag. You can barely maneuver around the crap in his house, there is no place to sit or relax, they have no privacy and it probably smells like a litterbox. And he expects her to care for his pets! I can make concessions for the fact that there is very clear family dysfunction going on. The issues are probably less clear to Clayton than they are to Annali. But she left her nice big house in Peru and her very sick mom…for this hot mess. I’d be very surprised if she DIDN’T have the ick. She’s handling it way better than I expected, tbh.
