It’s always the way on this show. Some nosey American family member or friend feels entitled to grill the ‘foreigner’ (she’s in his country, mind you! But it never stops them) I was a real 90 day fiancee, and if any of my husband’s friends, or any of my now in-laws, had even attempted a fraction of what the people on the show say to the overseas fiance, he’d have thrown them out the house!
If her sister was dating an American guy, would she have been asking to see his phone, or criticizing his choice of bachelor pad decor? I seriously doubt it.
