!What the fuck? If someone came into my house with that attitude trying to get in the middle of my business the FIRST TIME we met, I’d be pissed.

!Sarper is clearly not innocent in all of this, but her nasty attitude about the traditional dish he was preparing, giving him shit about the alcohol bottles on display, and demanding to see his DM’s was completely over the line. I don’t think he was able to finish a single sentence.

!Shakinah should have put a stop to that immediately instead of dog-piling on.

I agree and didn’t it seem like a double-standard that they freak out when he said she was being a slut and they turned around and called him a fuck boy? All three are trash but that was out of pocket.

Like I get where she’s coming from and wanting to look out for her sister, but imagine how he felt he’s already nervous to meet her, speaking in a language that isn’t his native language, and they’re just ganging up on him immediately. Yeah I didn’t care for his responses but I kinda felt for him in that moment.

They were a couple sluts, I mean bitches. The scene was ridiculous. I think many normal women would just leave after those comments.

IMO, I would’ve been rude too if my sister’s fiance was making me raw meat with his bare hands as a first dinner. I guess Sarper’s broke, too, since he couldn’t afford the restaurant. Let’s be honest, they’re not Amish anymore and LA girls are high maintenance. Plus the empty liquor bottles… cringe 🙃

Amish? Where did that come from? Im not a huge fan of sarper but I thought his disgusting meal was nice. He wanted to introduce to them to his culture. Raw meat is pretty expensive. I think liquor bottles has been covered already today

I don’t like Sarper but I agree with him, no one is reading my DMs. I have nothing to hide, it’s just a gross invasion of privacy. He was also making one of my fave Turkish dishes and they didn’t even eat! Ugh!!

I actually liked her a lot. She was straight to the point (lmao) whether that was for plastic surgery, or her sister. All I saw was a woman who had a preconceived notion of the crappy man her sister was dating and asked the questions. It’s good she called him out on his shit, whether this was scripted or not

She was so unhelpful. I think she had decent intentions and was feeling protective of Shakinah, but was bringing up the dumbest, pettiest things

First of all, if you offer to cook me dinner, and then it’s not even cooked, not even sushi, and you’re mixing everything together with your bare hands, I give that a pass too. Second of all, that’s her sister. The man is clearly possessive and controlling, she has every right to be concerned and ask questions. Then he seals the deal by calling Shekinah a whore and a bitch in front of her family!

I think she just wanted to get on TV. She added literally nothing to the storyline. Not even real drama since we all moved on from her immediately.

It’s always the way on this show. Some nosey American family member or friend feels entitled to grill the ‘foreigner’ (she’s in his country, mind you! But it never stops them) I was a real 90 day fiancee, and if any of my husband’s friends, or any of my now in-laws, had even attempted a fraction of what the people on the show say to the overseas fiance, he’d have thrown them out the house!

If her sister was dating an American guy, would she have been asking to see his phone, or criticizing his choice of bachelor pad decor? I seriously doubt it. But non-Americans are ‘less than,’ and automatically suspect, and need to be questioned and caught in a lie. Like Riley with Violet, just wanting the gotcha moment. It’s so vile

Yes actually I think he kind of handled himself well (not the part where he said the b word of course) but I could tell he was really biting his tongue, I would have gone off on her, extremely rude and bad manners first time going to someone’s home, very trashy.
