It is deeply confusing.
I’ve seen people accuse each other of missing the point, but I’ll only share my own part:
me sharing that I always assumed that Ted Lasso suspected something about Rebecca in season 1 means I missed the point of the show. Huh? How…?
Is the whole point of the show that we should be completely blind to red flags of a manipulative boss?
Other example - when I point out all Roy Kent’s red flags and the hypocrisy of some fans - jumping on Nate’s red flags, but defending Roy, because Roy is more attractive, somehow I get accused of “missing the point of the show”…
Ummmm… what point?
The point of Ted Lasso is that when a tall, handsome Brett Goldstein-looking man does questionable, toxic things, we should just laugh, ignore it and be blind to it?
It seems to me that people randomly assume any bias they have is automatically “point of this show”.
If OP didn’t see this response coming, they definitely missed the point of the show.
